El Ministerio del Interior y la Policía Nacional, en Conmemoración de su 45 Aniversario de Fundación, dedica este Desfile “La Paz somos Tod@s”, al Pueblo nicaragüense, reafirmando nuestro Compromiso, de velar por la Paz, la Seguridad y la Tranquilidad.
Esta tarde desfilamos en Honor al Legado de nuestros Héroes Nacionales, el General de Hombres y Mujeres Libres Augusto César Sandino, Rigoberto López Pérez, Comandante Carlos Fonseca Amador, así como nuestro Fundador el Comandante Tomás Borge Martínez.
Rendimos Homenaje a nuestros Hermanos del Ministerio del Interior, y a Policías que durante estos 45 años han ofrendado sus Vidas en cumplimiento de Misión.
Familias nicaragüenses, el Ministerio del Interior y la Policía Nacional, hemos avanzado en una integración efectiva, para recuperar nuestras Fortalezas, la Unidad de todas nuestras Fuerzas, para defender la Seguridad Ciudadana y Soberana.
No permitiremos que nos fragmenten, dividan o descompongan, a comProyecto nuevoo lo hicieron en el Pasado, porque queremos tener Siempre una Patria Libre, Digna Siempre, Soberana Siempre.
El Ministerio del Interior después de muchos años, vuelve a desfilar junto con nuestra Policía Nacional, para continuar siendo los Centinelas de la Alegría del Pueblo.
En este Desfile “La Paz Somos Tod@s”, participan 10 Bloques del Ministerio del Interior con 574 Fuerzas, destacando la participación de 271 Compañeras Mujeres y nuestros tres Directores Generales, en representación del Sistema Penitenciario, Bomberos Unidos y Migración y Extranjería.
Desfilamos con 8 camiones de Bomberos Unidos, asignados para proteger la Vida y los bienes materiales de las Familias nicaragüenses, mediante la extinción oportuna de los incendios, búsqueda y rescate.
Reafirmamos nuestro Compromiso de salvaguardar los Derechos y la Paz de nuestro Pueblo, trabajando siempre con determinación y Unidad en defensa de la Soberanía. Leales siempre a nuestra Jefatura Suprema, a nuestros Héroes y Mártires y a las Familias nicaragüenses.

El Ministerio del Interior y la Policía Nacional, en conmemoración del 45 Aniversario de su fundación, dedican al Pueblo de Nicaragua este Desfile “La Paz Somos Todos”. La Paz como garantía del presente y el futuro, es responsabilidad de tod@s, la Paz para que nuestro Buen Gobierno continúe llevando progreso y prosperidad a las familias y comunidades.
Rendimos homenaje a nuestros Héroes Nacionales, a los 524 Herman@s Policías y a los 42 Herman@s Policías Voluntarios que durante 45 años de Vida Institucional ofrendaron su Vida en cumplimiento del servicio de proteger a las Personas, Familias y Comunidades, dejando entre nosotros un Legado de Entrega y Amor a nuestro Pueblo.
Son héroes y heroínas de la Paz y la Seguridad. Su legado continúa vivo en nuestros corazones y nos comprometemos con ell@s a ser cada día mejores Centinelas de la Paz y la Seguridad.
Con orgullo desfilamos Compañer@s del Ministerio del Interior y de la Policía Nacional, “La Paz Somos Todos”, participan 36 bloques, 2,234 Compañer@s, 937 Mujeres y 1,297 Varones, con 8 camiones de bomberos y 100 motos policiales.
Herman@s del Ministerio del Interior y Policía Nacional, hoy desfilamos reafirmando nuestro compromiso de preservar y defender la Paz en Soberanía y Dignidad Nacional.

Herman@s nicaragüenses; Familias que nos están acompañando, que hacen presencia en este Acto a través de los Medios de Comunicación, que están transmitiendo desde el Río Coco hasta el San Juan, desde las Comunidades, Comarcas, Departamentos, del Centro, del Norte, del Sur, de la Costa del Caribe y de la Costa del Pacífico, para tod@s ustedes, Querid@s Herman@s, nuestro Cariño.
Y en este caso, hoy, en la Conmemoración del 45 Aniversario del Ministerio del Interior y la Policía Nacional, se iniciará esta Marcha en esta Avenida de los Héroes, la Avenida que va De Bolívar a Chávez. La Bolívar que está siendo acompañada también por nuestros Héroes, los Héroes que batallaron contra los conquistadores, los Héroes que batallaron contra los expansionistas yanquis; el General Zeledón que combatió y entregó su Vida por la Dignidad y la Soberanía de Nicaragua, y nuestro General Sandino que libró esa Batalla Heroica, donde los invasores yanquis no lograron derrotarlo.
Y todos no podemos dejar de recordar lo que pasó. Nuestro General combatió por años y los yanquis utilizaron todo tipo de armamento, utilizaron la aviación, cuántas veces bombardearon el Campamento de El Chipote, cuántas veces intentaron asesinar a los Comandantes del Ejército Defensor de la Soberanía Nacional, pero no pudieron, y luego tuvieron que marcharse.
Se marcharon y vino lo que se esperaba, que llegara la Paz a Nicaragua, porque ya los invasores se habían retirado derrotados, y ya nuestro General Sandino, estando de Presidente el Presidente Sacasa, ya había bajado de la montaña a Managua y en una de esas visitas a Managua para llegar a los Acuerdos de Paz con el Gobierno de Sacasa, en una de las primeras visitas se apareció Somoza.
Somoza saludó al General Sandio, y lo abrazó, y está esa foto para la Historia, el abrazo de Judas, abrazando a Sandino, cuando ya Somoza había preparado el asesinato, lo había preparado con los yanquis, a través del Embajador yanqui y la representación militar yanqui que había aquí en Nicaragua. Luego, en otro viaje que hizo Sandino aquí a Managua, ya concluyendo le ofrece el Presidente Sacasa una cena en Casa Presidencial.
Casa Presidencial quedaba, en ese momento, en la Avenida que va a la par de la Bolívar, que Somoza en su servilismo le había puesto el nombre de Avenida Roosevelt. A la Avenida Central le había puesto la Avenida Roosevelt.
En las luchas contra el Somocismo, entonces luchando nosotros en Juventud Patriótica Nicaragüense, cuando aún no se había fundado el Frente Sandinista, en una manifestación aquí en Managua, a lo largo de la Avenida que había bautizado Somoza como Avenida Roosevelt, ahí marchamos, Jóvenes todos, muchachos, estudiantes, para bautizar esa Avenida con el nombre de Avenida Sandino.
Claro, apareció la Guardia, eran Guardias, ahí no había Policías, eran Guardia que llegaban con sus fusiles Garand, y empezaron a volar balas, a culatear y a dispersar la manifestación que cubría buena parte de la Avenida.
La Casa Presidencial estaba al fondo, ahí donde está el Monumento a Sandino a la orilla de la Laguna de Tiscapa, ahí estaba la Casa Presidencial, y en esa ocasión, el Presidente Sacasa, sin saber de lo que habían planeado los yanquis con Somoza, invitó al General Sandino a cenar en la Casa Presidencial.
Y allá fue el General Sandino con tres Jefes del Ejército Defensor de la Soberanía Nacional. Bueno, tuvieron la cena, la hija del Presidente Sacasa estaba acompañando también la cena. Ya terminada la cena, en horas de la noche, Sandino bajó de la Presidencia para buscar la casa en que se alojaba y donde había quedado el Coronel Santos López.
Y cuando vienen bajando y van pasando aquí nomás, paralelo a estos puntos por los que hoy es la Carlos Agüero, entonces era el Campo Marte, entonces exactamente en ese punto estaba la genocida Guardia Somocista esperando al General Sandino, y lo detienen. A él lo venían trasladando en un auto, el auto se detiene porque estaban los Guardias ahí tendidos con sus fusiles.
Detrás del General Sandino viene la hija del Presidente Sacasa, cuando ve que estaban los Guardias tendidos y ordenándole a Sandino y a sus acompañantes que bajen, ella corre y les dice que es el General Sandino que viene de cenar con su padre, y no hubieron razones, ahí lo llevan y lo fusilan con los otros Generales que le acompañaban.
El punto exacto donde lo fusilaron a Sandino, bueno, un ex Militar que fue Oficial de la Guardia de Somoza, indicaba que el lugar donde lo llevaron fue ahí donde está ahora la Ajax Delgado, en la Carretera Norte donde está la Estación de Policía Ajax Delgado, en Homenaje a otro Héroe asesinado por Somoza, un muchacho joven, Ajax, que ahí lo llevaron, ahí lo sentaron en unas piedras a él y a otros Compañeros.
Estaba el General Sandino, Umanzor, Estrada, entonces Sandino y los Generales ahí sentados y ahí los fusilan. Simultáneamente, le caen a la casa de Sofonías Salvatierra que era donde estaba alojado Sócrates Sandino, estaba el Coronel Santos López, y el Coronel Santos logra escapar, y matan a un niño ahí en la casa cuando van por Sócrates y van por Santos López.
El Coronel Santos López herido logra escapar, y luego es el vínculo vivo del Ejército Defensor de la Soberanía Nacional, donde luego participa cuando conoce a los muchachos, jóvenes, los conoce y de ahí nace el Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional. Y podemos decir y gritar a todo pulmón, que el General Sandino no murió, que Sandino vive en el Pueblo nicaragüense, vive en el Ejército y en la Policía, vive en los Campesinos, vive en la Juventud, vive en los Estudiantes.
Ya se han iniciado las Matrículas para los Estudiantes, y bueno, ahí ya sabemos, General Díaz, que la Policía juega un papel crucial para cuidar, proteger, que no hayan problemas, que no hayan accidentes, que no hayan delincuentes ahí asaltando. O sea, garantizar la Paz, ese es el gran objetivo de las Instituciones que nacieron con la Revolución, las Instituciones que no son más que la continuidad del Ejército Defensor de la Soberanía Nacional.
Tanto el Ejército de Nicaragua, el Ministerio del Interior, la Policía Nacional, todos son Continuadores del Ejército Defensor de la Soberanía Nacional, y defender la Paz es defender la Soberanía Nacional; defender la Justicia es defender la Soberanía Nacional; defender el Derecho a la Educación y a la Salud es defender la Soberanía Nacional.
Y en estas Luchas que estamos librando en estos Tiempos, como explicábamos ayer, para erradicar la Pobreza, para mejorar las condiciones de Vida de nuestro Pueblo, la Educación, la Salud, las Viviendas, etc., en todas estas Luchas juegan un papel fundamental el Ejército, el Ministerio del Interior, la Policía Nacional, las diferentes Direcciones que tiene el Ministerio del Interior, los Bomberos... ¡Claro que sí!
Las Instituciones que se movilizan a la hora de desastres naturales, de inundaciones, temblores o terremotos; todas son Instituciones que se han venido forjando con el Espíritu de Sandino, defendiendo la Soberanía Nacional para garantizar la Seguridad del Pueblo, para garantizar la Paz de los nicaragüenses.
Hoy, Querid@s Herman@s nicaragüenses, les damos un fuerte abrazo desde esta Gloriosa Avenida de los Héroes, con la Compañera Rosario, Vicepresidenta; con la Compañera María Amelia Coronel, Ministra del Interior; con el General de Ejército Julio César Avilés; con el Compañero Gustavo Porras, Presidente de la Asamblea Nacional; con el Primer Comisionado Francisco Javier Díaz Madriz, Director General de la Policía Nacional.
Con los acompañantes que han llegado de Tierras lejanas, desde la República Popular China, y que hoy nos acompaña el General de Ejército, Vicegobernador de la Provincia de Guangdong y Director General de Seguridad Pública en la República Popular China, el Hermano Lui Guozhou; igualmente el Representante del Pueblo, Gobierno y Partido Comunista de China, Chen Xi, Embajador de la República Popular China.
Van también los abrazos, los saludos, del Comisionado General Luis Cañas, Viceministro del Interior; del Comisionado General Horacio Sebastián Rocha, Ministro Asesor del Presidente de la República.

The Ministry of the Interior and the National Police, in Commemoration of its 45th Anniversary of Foundation, dedicate this Parade “Peace is All of Us”, to the Nicaraguan People, reaffirming our Commitment to ensure Peace, Security and Tranquility.
This afternoon we parade in Honor of the Legacy of our National Heroes, the General of Free Men and Women Augusto César Sandino, Rigoberto López Pérez, Comandante Carlos Fonseca Amador, as well as our Founder Comandante Tomás Borge Martínez.
We pay tribute to our Brothers and Sisters of the Ministry of the Interior, and to all the Police Officers who during these 45 years have offered their Lives in fulfillment of our Mission.
Nicaraguan families, the Ministry of the Interior and the National Police, we have advanced via effective integration,
recovering our Strengths, the Unity of all our Forces, in defense of Citizen and Sovereign Security.
We will not allow anyone to fragment, divide or decompose us, as they have done in the past, because we want to always have a Free Patriotic Nation, Forever Dignified, Forever Sovereign.
The Ministry of the Interior, after many years, returns now on parade, together with our National Police, continuing to be the Sentinels of the Joy of our People.
In this Parade “Peace is All of Us”, 10 Blocks of the Ministry of the Interior with 574 personnel are taking part, highlighting the participation of 271 Women Compañeras and our three Director Generals, representing our Penitentiary System, our United Firefighters and our Office of Migration and Foreigners.
We parade with 8 engines of our United Firefighters, assigned to protect Life and property, materials of Nicaraguan Families, through the timely extinguishing of fires, search and rescue.
We reaffirm our Commitment to safeguard the Rights and Peace of our People, always working with determination and Unity in defense of our Sovereignty. Always loyal to our Supreme Leadership, to our Heroes and Martyrs and to all Nicaragua's Families.

We pay tribute to our National Heroes, to the 524 Police Brothers and the 42 Volunteer Police Brothers who during 45 years of the life of our Institution offered their Lives in fulfillment of their service, protecting Individuals, Families and Communities, leaving among us a Legacy of Dedication and Love to our People.
They are heroes and heroines of Peace and Security. Their legacy lives on in our hearts and we commit ourselves with them to be better Sentinels of Peace and Security every day.
With much pride we parade Compañer@s of the Ministry of the Interior and the National Police, “Peace is All of Us", with 36 blocks participating, 2,234 Compañeros and Compañeras, 937 Women and 1,297 Men, with 8 fire engines and 100 police motorcycles.
Brothers and Sisters of the Ministry of the Interior and National Police, today we parade reaffirming our commitment to preserve and defend Peace in National Sovereignty and Dignity.

Nicaraguan brothers and sisters; Families who accompany us, who are present for this Event via the Media, which transmitting as far as the Coco River to the River San Juan, to the Communities, Municipalities and Departments of the Center, North and South of the country, to the Caribbean Coast and the Pacific Coast, for all of you, Beloved Brothers and Sisters, our Affection.
And in this case, today, on the Commemoration of the 45th Anniversary of the Ministry of the Interior and the National Police, this Parade will begin on this Avenue of Heroes, the Avenue that goes from Bolívar to Chávez. Bolívar who is also accompanied by our Heroes, the Heroes who fought against the conquistadors, the Heroes who fought against the Yankee expansionists; General Zeledón who fought and gave his life for the Dignity and Sovereignty of Nicaragua, and our General Sandino who gave that Heroic Battle, in which the Yankee invaders failed to defeat him.
And none of us can help but remember what happened. Our General fought for years and the Yankees used all kinds of weapons, they used aviation, how many times they bombed the El Chipote encampment, how many times they tried to assassinate the Comandantes of the Army in Defense of National Sovereignty, but they couldn't, and then they had to leave.
They left and what was to be expected took place, that Peace would come to Nicaragua, because the invaders had already retreated, defeated, and then our General Sandino, when the President was President Sacasa, had by then come down from the mountains to Managua and on one of those visits to Managua for reaching the Peace Agreement with the Sacasa government, Somoza appeared on one of the first visits.
Somoza greeted General Sandio, and embraced him, and there is that picture for history, the embrace of Judas, embracing Sandino, when Somoza had already prepared the assassination, prepared it with the Yankees, together with the Yankee Ambassador and the Yankee military representation here in Nicaragua. Then, on another trip that Sandino made here to Managua, already concluding talks, President Sacasa offered him a dinner at the Presidential House.
The Presidential House was, at that time, on the Avenue that goes parallel to the Bolivar, which Somoza in his servility had named Roosevelt Avenue. The Central Avenue had been named Roosevelt Avenue.
In the struggles against Somocismo, who fought us then as Nicaragua's patriotic Youth, when the Sandinista Front had not yet been founded, in a demonstration here in Managua, along the Avenue that Somoza had baptized as Roosevelt Avenue, we marched there, all young people, young men and women students, so as to baptize that Avenue with the name of Sandino Avenue.
Of course, the National Guard appeared, they were Guardsmen, since there were no Police there, they were Guardsmen who arrived with their Garand rifles, and they began to shoot bullets, to batter and disperse the demonstration that covered a good part of the Avenue.
The Presidential House was in the background, there where the Sandino Monument is now overlooking the Tiscapa Lagoon, there was the Presidential House, and on that occasion, President Sacasa, not knowing what the Yankees had planned with Somoza, invited General Sandino to dinner at the Presidential House.
And General Sandino went with three leaders of the Army in Defense of National Sovereignty. Well, they had dinner, President Sacasa's daughter was also accompanying the dinner. After dinner was over, in the evening, Sandino came down from the Presidency to go to the house where he was staying and where Colonel Santos López was staying.
And when they come down and they were just passing close to here, parallel to the point where the Carlos Aguero is today, then it was the Campo Marte, exactly at that point, the genocidal Somoza Guard was waiting for General Sandino, and they detained him. He was being driven in a car, the car stopped because the Guardsmen were laying in wait there with their rifles.
President Sacasa's daughter came following General Sandino and when she saw that the Guardsmen laying in wait were ordering Sandino and his companions to get down from the car, she ran and told them that it was General Sandino coming after having dinner with her father, and there was no cause, but there they took him and shot him along with the other Generals who accompanied him.
As for the exact spot where Sandino was shot, well, a former military officer who was an officer of the Somoza Guard, indicated that the place where they took him was there where the Ajax Delgado is now, on the Northern Highway where the Ajax Delgado Police Station is, named in tribute to another Hero killed by Somoza, a young boy, Ajax, who was taken there, there they sat him and the other compañeros on some stones.
There was General Sandino, Umanzor, Estrada, then Sandino and the Generals sitting there and they shot them. Simultaneously, they struck the house of Sofonías Salvatierra which was where Sócrates Sandino was staying, Colonel Santos López was there, but Colonel Santos managed to escape, and they killed a child there in the house when they went after Sócrates and they went after Santos López.
Wounded, Colonel Santos López managed to escape, and then he was the living link to the Army in Defense of
National Sovereignty, when he then participated after meeting the young men and women, he came to know and from there was born the Sandinista National Liberation Front. And we can say shouting it at the top of our lungs, that General Sandino never died, that Sandino lives in the Nicaraguan People, he lives in the Army and the Police, he lives in the Peasants, he lives in the Young People, he lives in the Students.
The students' matriculation has already started, and in fact, we know very well, General Díaz, that the police play a crucial role providing care, protecting, so that there are no problems, so that there are no accidents, so that no criminals carry out assaults. That is to say, guaranteeing Peace, that is the great objective of the Institutions that were born with the Revolution, the Institutions that are no more nor less than the continuity of the Army in Defense of National Sovereignty.
The Nicaraguan Army, the Ministry of the Interior, the National Police, all are Continuations of the Army in Defense of National Sovereignty, such that defending Peace is defending National Sovereignty; defending Justice is defending National Sovereignty; defending the Right to Education and Health is defending National Sovereignty.
And in the Struggles we are waging in these Times, as we explained yesterday, to eradicate Poverty, to improve the living conditions of our People, Education, Health, Housing, etc., in all these Struggles the Army, the Ministry of the Interior, the National Police, the different Directorates of the Ministry of the Interior, our Firefighters too play a fundamental role... Of course!
The Institutions that mobilize during natural disasters, floods, tremors or earthquakes; all of them are Institutions that have been forged with the Spirit of Sandino, defending National Sovereignty to guarantee the Security of the People, to guarantee the Peace of Nicaraguans.
Today, beloved Nicaraguan Brothers and Sisters, we give you a big embrace from this Glorious Avenue of Heroes, with Compañera Rosario, Vice President; with Compañera María Amelia Coronel, Minister of the Interior; with Army General Julio César Avilés; with Compañero Gustavo Porras, President of the National Assembly; with First Commissioner Francisco Javier Díaz Madriz, Director General of the National Police.
With the compañeros and compañeras who have arrived from distant Lands, from the People's Republic of China, and who today are accompanied by the Army General, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province and Director General of Public Security in the People's Republic of China, Brother Lui Guozhou; also the Representative of the People, Government and Communist Party of China, Chen Xi, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China.
