ALBA-TCP CELEBRA RECONOCIMIENTO AL ESTADO DE PALESTINA
La Alianza Bolivariana para los Pueblos de Nuestra América-Tratado de Comercio de los Pueblos (ALBA-TCP) celebra con satisfacción que un número creciente de países haya reconocido al Estado de Palestina. Este avance constituye un paso trascendental hacia la solución de los dos Estados y la reafirmación del derecho del pueblo palestino a disponer de un Estado independiente y soberano dentro de las fronteras anteriores a 1967, con Jerusalén Oriental como capital. Ello representa un acto de justicia histórica que no admite más postergaciones.
Los países del ALBA-TCP saludan que cada vez más naciones asuman con responsabilidad el deber de reconocer los derechos inalienables del pueblo palestino, en estricto apego a la Carta de las Naciones Unidas, al Derecho Internacional y al Derecho Internacional Humanitario. Reconocer a Palestina es un deber moral y jurídico para garantizar la paz y la seguridad regionales e internacionales.
El ALBA-TCP condena categóricamente el genocidio perpetrado por Israel contra el pueblo palestino, así como la ocupación ilegal y sistemática que por más de siete décadas ha intentado arrebatarle, su tierra, su libertad y su futuro.
La Alianza reafirma que Palestina pertenece a los palestinos y convoca a los Estados que aún no han dado este paso a reconocer, sin más dilación, su derecho a existir como nación libre y soberana; y a ocupar su escaño como miembro pleno de la Organización de Naciones Unidas. La causa palestina es también la causa de la dignidad de los pueblos.
¡Basta de genocidio! ¡Palestina vencerá!

ALBA-TCP CELEBRATES RECOGNITION OF THE STATE OF PALESTINE
The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) welcomes the recognition of the State of Palestine by a growing number of countries. This constitutes a significant step toward the two-state solution, and the reaffirmation of the Palestinian people's right to an independent and sovereign state within the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital city. This represents an act of historical justice that cannot be delayed any longer.
The ALBA-TCP countries welcome that an increasing number of nations are responsibly assuming their duty to recognize the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, in strict accordance with the Charter of the United Nations, international law, and international humanitarian law. Recognizing Palestine is a moral and legal duty to ensure regional and international peace and security.
ALBA-TCP categorically condemns the genocide perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people, as well as the illegal and systematic occupation that for over seven decades has attempted to take away their land, their freedom, and their future.
The Alliance reaffirms that Palestine belongs to the Palestinians and calls on those States that have not yet done so to recognize, without further delay, their right to exist as a free and sovereign nation and take its seat as a full member of the United Nations. The Palestinian cause is also the cause of the dignity of peoples.
Stop the genocide! Palestine will prevail!
