MENSAJE DEL GOBIERNO DE RECONCILIACIÓN Y UNIDAD NACIONAL DE LA REPÚBLICA DE NICARAGUA EN LA ASAMBLEA GENERAL ANUAL DEL GRUPO DE ACCIÓN DE LA CAMPAÑA DE SOLIDARIDAD
CON NICARAGUA (NSCAG)

Compañeras y Compañeros Miembros del Grupo de Acción de la Campaña de Solidaridad con Nicaragua, 

Compañeras y  Compañeros Sindicalistas,

Es para mí un honor especial poder dirigirme a Ustedes en ocasión de esta Asamblea General Anual y transmitirles el Cariño Fraterno, de Hermanas y Hermanos Revolucionarios de nuestros Co-Presidentes Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra y Compañera Rosario Murillo Zambrana, quienes desde el Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional y desde el Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional, continúan conduciendo a nuestro Pueblo, Gobierno y Partido por el Camino de Dignidad que nos heredó nuestro General de Hombres y Mujeres Libres, Augusto C. Sandino. 

Queremos expresar nuestro agradecimiento por la solidaridad, el cariño, el permanente trabajo que por tantos años Ustedes vienen haciendo para informar, aclarar y defender a la Revolución Popular Sandinista. 

Ustedes se han mantenido firmes e incansables, caminando al lado del Pueblo Nicaragüense y las revoluciones y fuerzas progresistas en el mundo, a pesar de las sistemáticas campañas mediáticas para descalificar nuestro proceso popular y antiimperialista, tratando de minimizar los enormes y significativos avances que la Revolución ha alcanzado a favor del Pueblo humilde y trabajador de Nicaragua. 

Participamos en este evento recibiendo sus muestras de Solidaridad con el Pueblo de Nicaragua, pero también estamos aquí para expresar nuestra inquebrantable Solidaridad con los Pueblos que hoy luchan por su Libertad, Soberanía y Autodeterminación. 

Compañeros y Compañeras,

El Pueblo Nicaragüense sabe de Luchas y Victorias. Un Pueblo que ha sido tantas veces y de distintas formas intervenido por el imperialismo norteamericano sabe de Luchas y de Victorias. Un Pueblo que de su seno surge un Héroe Latinoamericano y Caribeño como Augusto C. Sandino quien enfrentó, derrotó y expulsó a los yanquis invasores de nuestras tierras, y cuyo ejemplo es el que hereda el Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional, que da continuidad a la lucha antiimperialista de Sandino, conduciendo al Pueblo Nicaragüense hacia la hermosa Victoria de la Revolución Popular Sandinista en julio de 1979, que muchos de Ustedes recuerdan y desempeñaron un rol importante en su defensa en los años 80. 

Precisamente por el carácter popular y antiimperialista de nuestra Revolución, es que el imperio no tardó en desatar una guerra contrarrevolucionaria, que destruyó el país en la década de los años 1980, causando más de 50 mil muertos. 

Con la Solidaridad del mundo, con el Heroísmo de nuestro Pueblo Nicaragüense, la Revolución alcanzó significativos avances sociales, políticos y económicos. Avances en salud, educación y restitución de derechos, a pesar de la guerra impuesta por el imperio.

Muchos de Ustedes recuerdan también el chantaje imperialista, otra forma de intervención yanqui en nuestra tierra, que trajo consigo la oscurana y la ruina del país en la década de los años 1990 e inicios del 2000, hasta que el Frente Sandinista regresó al gobierno en 2007, iniciando una nueva etapa de la Revolución Popular Sandinista, marcada por la Luz de la Esperanza, por la Paz, la Reconciliación, el Progreso y el Bienestar del Pueblo Nicaragüense. 

Bajo las banderas del Frente Sandinista, conducido por nuestro Comandante Daniel Ortega y nuestra Compañera Rosario Murillo, Nicaragua se encaminó rápidamente por la senda de la justicia social, de la restitución de derechos, del bienestar y la paz. 

Nicaragua demostró que una Revolución Popular es capaz de mejorar la vida de su Pueblo e impulsar el desarrollo, restituyendo los derechos arrebatados por el imperio, la oligarquía y su modelo neoliberal, manteniéndose firme y leal al pensamiento político Revolucionario Sandinista del que surge. 

La lucha contra la pobreza es el elemento central del Plan Nacional de Desarrollo Humano, nuestro Plan de Lucha contra la Pobreza, que enarbola con firmeza la gratuidad de la salud y la educación como derechos fundamentales. El acceso a servicios básicos como el agua, electricidad, carreteras, hospitales, clínicas y escuelas comenzaron a llegar hasta las comunidades más lejanas, uniendo al país. La producción y los ingresos del país aumentaron año tras año, mientras que los derechos de las mujeres, jóvenes, trabajadores, Pueblos indígenas y afrodescendientes, y de todo el Pueblo Nicaragüense, florecieron bajo el liderazgo del Frente Sandinista.

La acertada conducción del Frente Sandinista fue reconocida por nuestro Pueblo en las elecciones nacionales, municipales y regionales de 2016 y 2017, tanto que el imperio junto a los malos hijos de Nicaragua, los traidores de siempre, los oligarcas vendepatria de siempre, no pudieron esconder su miedo por tantos avances que se confabularon para facilitar una nueva forma de intervención yanqui en 2018, con el propósito destruir esta hermosa nueva página de la historia de nuestro Pueblo y tratar cumplir su objetivo central de destruir al Frente Sandinista y como dijeron en su momento “eliminar físicamente a los Sandinistas”.   

Financiaron, intervinieron, mintieron y manipularon a través de medios de comunicación y redes sociales, cometieron atrocidades y asesinatos contra el pacífico Pueblo Nicaragüense en un intento de desmantelar la Revolución a través de un golpe de estado, que falló por la firmeza de nuestro Pueblo, de los trabajadores nicaragüenses, quienes enfrentaron esta nueva forma de intervención yanqui y sus aliados oligarcas, derrotándolos una vez más. 

Una vez derrotado el intento de golpe de estado, nuestro liderazgo político, el Frente Sandinista, el Gobierno Revolucionario se propuso profundizar las conquistas alcanzadas y defendidas por el Pueblo. 

Nos propusimos fortalecer la defensa de la Revolución para que los intentos imperialistas y oligarcas nunca más pudieran siquiera asomarse por una pequeña rendija de la historia. Nos propusimos defender y consolidar la Revolución.

En estos siete años después de la intentona golpista de 2018, hemos aumentado nuestra capacidad productiva y los ingresos del país, hemos construido más hospitales, más escuelas, más carreteras. Cada día brindamos y llevamos más servicios básicos a más comunidades. Hemos aumentado nuestra seguridad alimentaria sobre la base del compromiso y la enorme capacidad productiva de nuestros productores rurales. Hemos fortalecido nuestras medidas de seguridad y seguimos siendo el país más seguro de la región.

En fin, declaramos que nuestro enemigo principal es la pobreza, la cual hemos reducido de manera significativa en estos años. La Seguridad y la Estabilidad de la sociedad nicaragüense siguen siendo elementos centrales de la construcción de la paz y el bienestar.

Este año reformamos la Constitución para fortalecer nuestro modelo de democracia popular y el protagonismo del Pueblo como líder del proceso revolucionario. Para ello, alineamos las instituciones públicas de manera más clara y coherente para servir mejor a nuestro Pueblo, permitiendo un mayor crecimiento económico, mayor seguridad y estabilidad social, así como la permanente restitución de los derechos de las familias nicaragüenses.

Compañeros y Compañeras,

El Pueblo de Nicaragua sigue comprometido con seguir fortaleciendo la Revolución Popular Sandinista, más aún, en este mundo acechado, amenazado y atacado por las fuerzas más oscuras de la historia, instaladas en los gobiernos neoliberales del norte global, que buscan imponer su modelo hegemónico unipolar y sus viciados pensamientos para tratar de detener los avances soberanos de los Pueblos Libres como Nicaragua.

Este mundo tan peligroso se caracteriza por el surgimiento de las formas más viles de explotación capitalista. Una ideología neofascista que no se detiene ante nada, que no respeta derechos, tratados ni acuerdos cuando se trata de desatar su destrucción sobre los Pueblos y el planeta, para imponer su forma de pensar en nombre del lucro.

Estamos atravesando tiempos difíciles en el mundo, tiempos de profundas transformaciones y grandes desafíos, de mucha confusión, pero también tiempos de gran claridad sobre la necesidad de seguir trabajando hacia un Mundo Multipolar que emerge ante nuestros ojos.

Un Mundo Multipolar que promueve la unidad, el diálogo, el entendimiento mutuo, mayor solidaridad y una cooperación mutuamente beneficiosa es necesario para la Paz, el Bienestar y la Justicia. Un Orden Multipolar ajeno a las hegemonías y unilateralidades, libre de imposiciones Neocoloniales, Imperiales y Fascistas en el que podamos profundizar armoniosos lazos de amistad, con respeto a la Soberanía, la Independencia, la Autodeterminación y la Dignidad de los Pueblos del Mundo.

Este nuevo mundo nos pertenece a todos y todas, a los Pueblos que continuamos transitando por las sendas de la unidad, defendiendo la Revolución. Porque ser revolucionario en esta etapa es también reconocer y trabajar sin descanso por la Paz, que no sólo es un Derecho, sino una necesidad.

Nicaragua mantendrá su invariable apoyo y solidaridad con el Hermano Pueblo y Gobierno Bolivariano de Venezuela y la Hermana Revolución Cubana, que sufren los embates de las crueles, constantes e inhumanas agresiones y bloqueos por el imperialismo.

En estos tiempos de confusión y manipulación es imperativo reiterar el principio de que América Latina y el Caribe, el Mar Caribe, es una Zona de Paz y que ninguna potencia tiene el derecho de socavarla, intervenirla o desestabilizarla.

Expresamos nuestra inquebrantable solidaridad con el Hermano Pueblo de Palestina y su justa causa. Nicaragua continuará denunciando el Genocidio y el Exterminio del Pueblo Palestino y condenando las violaciones del derecho internacional por parte del Estado de Israel.

Hermanas y Hermanos, 

Ustedes que “viven en las entrañas del monstruo”, como lo caracterizó José Martí, tienen que soportar las terribles consecuencias económicas, políticas y culturales del imperante pensamiento neofascista y neoliberal. 

Expresamos nuestro respeto a Ustedes, quienes se mantienen firmes, fuertes y decididos a seguir luchando, desde adentro, por sus propios derechos y por los derechos de los Pueblos del Mundo.

Eso para nosotros tiene un enorme y significativo valor. Hablar y actuar en solidaridad, en estos tiempos, tiene unas características muy especiales.

Esta Revolución tiene su máxima expresión de sacrificio en nuestros Héroes y Mártires, entre los que contamos, con especial reconocimiento y amor, a Hermanos y Hermanas que vinieron desde lejos en términos de distancia, pero muy cercanos en términos de pensamiento compartido, y que dieron sus vidas por la justicia social en nuestro país.

Hoy y todos los días reconocemos el trabajo que realizan a favor de la Paz en el mundo. Muchos de Ustedes han vivido entre nuestro Pueblo y otros han visitado nuestro país impulsados por la idea de construir un mundo más justo.

En esta segunda etapa de la Revolución Popular Sandinista, los enemigos de la justicia, de la verdad y de los derechos del Pueblo son los mismos del pasado, pero vienen envueltos de manera distinta. 

En estos tiempos debemos saber identificar y encontrar nuestro norte revolucionario y progresista, en medio de esa marea de falsedades y distorsiones de la verdad verdadera, como dice nuestra Compañera Rosario Murillo. 

Nuestra historia está claramente dividida entre Movimiento Popular y Pensamiento Oligárquico. 

En estos tiempos difíciles y confusos, la decisión es clara entre el pensamiento oligárquico, elitista, privilegiado y racista, dispuesto a todo para mantener su poder y privilegios, incluyendo ser habilitadores de la intervención extranjera; y el Movimiento Popular que hereda lo mejor de la historia de lucha de nuestro Pueblo. No hay medias tintas. En Nicaragua somos Movimiento Popular expresado en la Revolución Popular Sandinista.

Hermanas y Hermanos,

En esta reunión, recordamos, celebramos y agradecemos la firmeza, la constancia y la permanencia de Ustedes al lado del Movimiento Popular, al lado de la Revolución Popular Sandinista.  

Con mucho amor. Con mucho agradecimiento. Seguimos construyendo Revolución.

Comrades Members of the Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign Action Group, Comrades Trade Unionists, 

Compañeras and Compañeros,

It is a special honour for me to address you on this Annual General Assembly and to convey the Fraternal Embrace, as Revolutionary Sisters and Brothers, from our Co-Presidents Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Compañera Rosario Murillo Zambrana, who from the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity and the Sandinista Front for National Liberation, continue to lead our People, Government and Party through the Paths of Dignity inherited to us by our General of Free Men and Women, Augusto C. Sandino.

We want to express our gratitude for the solidarity, the affection and the constant work you have done for so many years to inform, clarify and defend the Sandinista Popular Revolution. 

You have remained firm and tireless, walking alongside the Nicaraguan People and the revolutions and progressive forces around the world, despite the systematic media campaigns to discredit our popular and anti-imperialist process, attempting to minimize the enormous and significant advances the Revolution has made in favour of the humble, working People of Nicaragua.

We participate in this event receiving your expressions of Solidarity with the People of Nicaragua, but we are also here to express our own unwavering Solidarity with the Peoples who are today fighting for their Freedom, Sovereignty and Self-determination.

Comrades, Compañeros and Compañeras,

The Nicaraguan People knows of Struggles and Victories. A People who have been so often and in so many ways intervened by US imperialism knows of Struggles and Victories. From whose midst a Latin American and Caribbean Hero such as Augusto C. Sandino emerged, who confronted, defeated and expelled the Yankee invaders from our land, and whose example is inherited by the Sandinista Front for National Liberation, which continued Sandino's anti-imperialist struggle and led the Nicaraguan People to the Victory of the Sandinista Popular Revolution in July 1979, which many of you can remember, playing an important role in its defence in the 1980s.

Precisely because of the popular and anti-imperialist nature of our Revolution, the empire was quick to unleash a counterrevolutionary war that destroyed the country in the 1980s, causing more than 50,000 deaths.

With the Solidarity of the world, with the Heroism of our Nicaraguan People, the Revolution was able to achieve significant social, political and economic progress. Progress in health, education and the restitution of rights, despite the war imposed by the empire.
 
Many of you also remember the imperialist blackmail, another form of Yankee intervention in our land, which brought darkness and ruin to the country in the 1990s and early 2000s, until the Sandinista Front came back to government in 2007, beginning a new stage of the Sandinista Popular Revolution, marked by a Ray of Hope for Peace, Reconciliation, Progress and the Well-being of the Nicaraguan People.

Under the flags of the Sandinista Front, led by our Comandante Daniel Ortega and our Compañera Rosario Murillo, Nicaragua quickly embarked on the paths of social justice, the restitution of rights, well-being and peace.

Nicaragua demonstrated that a Popular Revolution is capable of improving the lives of its People by fostering development, restoring the rights that were taken away by the empire, the oligarchy and its neoliberal model, while remaining firm and loyal to the Sandinista Revolutionary political thinking from which it emerged.

The fight against poverty is the central element of the National Human Development Plan, our Plan to Fight Poverty, which firmly upholds free health care and education as fundamental rights. Access to basic services such as water, electricity, roads, hospitals, clinics and schools began to reach rural communities, uniting the country. The country's production and income increased year after year, while the rights of women, youth, workers, Indigenous and Afro-descendant Peoples, and the entire Nicaraguan People prospered under the leadership of the Sandinista Front.

The Sandinista Front's successful leadership was recognized by our People in the national, municipal and regional elections of 2016 and 2017, so much that the empire, along with the bad sons and daughters of Nicaragua, the same traitors as always, the same sell-out oligarchs, could not hide their fear for these many advances, that they conspired to facilitate a new form of Yankee intervention in 2018, with the purpose of destroying this beautiful new page in the history of our People and trying to fulfil their central objective of destroying the Sandinista Front and, as they said at that time, to “physically eliminate the Sandinistas.”

They financed, intervened, lied and manipulated through main and social media, committing atrocities and murders against the peaceful Nicaraguan People in an attempt to dismantle the Revolution through a coup d'état, which failed due to the firmness of our People, of the Nicaraguan workers, who confronted this new form of Yankee intervention and its oligarchic allies and defeated them, once again.

Once the attempted coup d'état was defeated, our political leadership, the Sandinista Front, the Revolutionary Government, set out to strengthen the victories achieved and defended by the People.

We set out to strengthen the defence of the Revolution so that imperialist and oligarchic attempts could never again even peek through a small crack of history. We set out to defend and consolidate the Revolution.

In these seven years since the 2018 coup attempt, we have increased our productive capacity and the country's income, built more hospitals, more schools and more roads. Every day we are providing and bringing more basic services to more communities. We have increased our food security based on the commitment and enormous productive capacity of our rural producers. We have strengthened our security measures and continue to be the safest country in the region.

In short, we declared that our main enemy is poverty, which we have significantly reduced in recent years. The security and stability of the Nicaraguan society remain as central elements in the consolidation of peace and well-being.

This year, we reformed the Constitution to strengthen our model of popular democracy and the role of the people as leaders of the revolutionary process. To this end, we align public institutions in a clearer and more coherent manner in order to better serve our people, allowing for greater economic growth, greater security and social stability, as well as the permanent restitution of rights of the Nicaraguan families. 

Comrades, Compañeras and Compañeros,

The People of Nicaragua remain committed to continue strengthening the Sandinista Popular Revolution, even more so in this world threatened and attacked by the darkest forces of history, installed within the neoliberal governments of the global north, who seek to impose their unipolar hegemonic model and their corrupted thinking, in an attempt to stop the sovereign advances of Free Peoples like Nicaragua.

This very dangerous world is characterized by the emergence of the vilest forms of capitalist exploitation. A neo-fascist ideology that stops at nothing, that respects no rights, treaties or agreements when it comes to unleashing its destruction on Peoples and the planet, to impose their way of thinking in the name of generating profit.

We are witnessing difficult times in the world, times of profound transformations and great challenges, of much confusion, but it is also a time of great clarity regarding the need to continue working toward a Multipolar World that is emerging before our own eyes.

A Multipolar World that promotes unity, dialogue, mutual understanding, greater solidarity and mutually beneficial cooperation is needed for peace, well-being and justice. A Multipolar Order free from hegemony and unilateralism, free from neo-colonial, imperial and fascist impositions, where we can deepen harmonious bonds of friendship, with respect for Sovereignty, Independence, Self-determination and Dignity of the Peoples of the World.

This new world belongs to all of us, to the Peoples who continue to walk on the paths of unity, defending the Revolution. Being a revolutionary at this stage also means recognizing and working tirelessly for Peace, which is not only a Right, but a necessity.

Nicaragua will continue its unwavering support and solidarity with the Brotherly Bolivarian People and Government of Venezuela and the Sister Cuban Revolution, which are suffering the onslaught of cruel, constant and inhumane aggressions and blockades imposed by imperialism.

In these times of confusion and manipulation, it is imperative to reiterate the principle that Latin America and the Caribbean, the Caribbean Sea, is a Zone of Peace, and that no power has the right to undermine, intervene or destabilize it.

We express our unwavering solidarity with the Brotherly People of Palestine and their just cause. Nicaragua will continue to denounce the genocide and extermination of the Palestinian People and will continue to condemn the violations of international law by the State of Israel.

Sisters and Brothers,

You, who “live in the belly of the monster”, as José Martí characterized it, have to endure the terrible economic, political and cultural consequences of the prevailing neo-fascist and neoliberal thinking.

We express our respect to you, who remain steadfast, strong and determined to continue fighting, from within, for your own rights, and for the rights of the Peoples of the World.

This has enormous and significant value to us. Speaking and acting in solidarity, during these times, has a very special meaning.

This Revolution finds its greatest expression of sacrifice in our Heroes and Martyrs, among whom we count, with special recognition and love, those Brothers and Sisters who came from afar in terms of distance, but very close in terms of shared thinking, and gave their lives for social justice in our Country.

Today and every day, we recognize the work you do for Peace in the world. Many of you have lived among our People, and others have visited our country driven by the idea of building a fairer world.

In this second stage of the Sandinista Popular Revolution, the enemies of justice, of truth, the enemies of the rights of the People are the same as in the past, but they come in a different wrapping.

In these times, we must know how to identify and find our revolutionary and progressive compass, amidst this tide of falsehoods, distortions of the real truth, as our Comrade Rosario Murillo says.

Our history is clearly divided between the Popular Movement and the Oligarchic Thinking.

In these difficult and confusing times, the choice is clear between the oligarchic, elitist, entitled and racist thinking that is willing to do anything to maintain its power and privileges, including facilitating foreign intervention; and the Popular Movement, which inherits the best of our people's history of struggle. There are no half measures. In Nicaragua, we are a Popular Movement expressed in the Sandinista Popular Revolution.

Comrades, Sisters and Brothers,

At this meeting, we remember, celebrate and express our gratitude for your firmness, perseverance and permanence on the side of the Popular Movement, on the side of the Sandinista Popular Revolution.

With much love. With much gratitude. We continue building the Revolution.
