Queridas Familias de esta Nicaragua Bendita, Bendecida, Prodigiosa, Milagrosa, por Gracia de Dios, Siempre Digna, Soberana y Libre... Nuestra Nicaragua donde hoy celebramos y damos Gracias al Padre comprometiéndonos, todos y cada uno, con la Paz, como nuestro Triunfo, nuestra Victoria.

Amor, Fé, Esperanza, Hermandad, Solidaridad, esa és Nicaragua. Tod@s Junt@s, Siempre Más Allá !

Abril, para qué ? Para Seguir Venciendo en Armonía, en Comunidad, en Familia, en Fraternidad. 

Nicaragua, Nicaragua Triunfa en Paz...! Nicaragua Triunfa en Unidad !

Esta tarde, desde esta Plaza donde también honramos la Sangre Santa que se ha ofrendado por esta Patria Bendita, nuestros Héroes, Héroes Nacionales, nuestros Mártires, aquí nos estamos honrando. Y aquí, frente a esta Juventud que sabe de Luchas y de Honor, el Compromiso de tod@s és ir Adelante, Seguir Adelante, luchando para vencer la Pobreza, luchando para mantener la Armonía, luchando para avanzar, siempre en Valores de Familia, de Comunidad.

Queremos saludar el Presidium, la Juventud nicaragüense, la Juventud Sandinista, la Juventud Revolucionaria, Evolucionaria, la Juventud que camina en Paz, Derechos, Bienestar para Tod@s.

Saludamos, en este Presidium, bueno, nuestro Comandante Daniel; nuestro Presidente de la Asamblea Nacional, el Doctor Gustavo Porras; la Vicepresidenta, Compañera Arling Alonso; el General de Ejército Julio César Avilés Castillo, Jefe del Ejército y de las Fuerzas Militares de nuestra Nicaragua Bendita; el Coronel General Bayardo Rodríguez, Jefe del Estado Mayor; el Coronel General Marvin Elías Corrales, Inspector General de nuestro Ejército, tanto el Coronel General Bayardo como el Compañero Coronel General Marvin Elías Corrales; el Primer Comisionado Francisco Díaz, Jefe de las Fuerzas Policiales, y el Co-Jefe, el Comisionado General Victoriano Ruiz.

Y queremos destacar la presencia en esta Plaza donde estamos honrando nuestro Compromiso con la Paz, y el Futuro, de la Compañera Doris Ávila Talavera, hija de nuestro Querido Yiye Ávila y de su esposa Carmen “Yiya”; del esposo de Doris, el Compañero José Agripino Rodríguez; del nieto de Yiye, hijo de Nohemí, hija de Yiye y Carmen. Y nuestro Querido Hermano que nos acompaña en todos los momentos, en todos los tiempos, el Padre Antonio Castro, Párroco de la Iglesia de Larreynaga.

A ellos les invitamos a acompañarnos aquí para hacer una Oración por la Paz, por el Futuro, por la Juventud, por las Familias de esta Nicaragua Bendecida, Bendita, Siempre Digna, Soberana, Alegre, Libre !

Dios Bendiga a todos los presentes. Damos gracias a Dios por esta oportunidad, este privilegio de estar aquí para orar. Me acompaña mi esposo José y mi sobrino Miguel, que también están aquí y hemos disfrutado del Amor que tienen para mi papá y se extiende a nosotros. Estamos muy felices de estar aquí, pero vamos a lo que vinimos, a orar.

Amado Dios, Padre Celestial, en este momento clamamos a Ti por Nicaragua; te agradecemos la Bendición y el Honor de estar aquí para orar por este Pueblo, Señor, que te ama, donde está la Libertad tuya, donde se permite adorarte, alabarte, y Dios mío, gracias por ese Privilegio, Señor.

Te agradecemos tu Bondad, te agradecemos, Dios mío, esta oportunidad de estar aquí, y en este momento, Señor Amado, yo pido primeramente por sus Líderes. Te pido que Tú les sigas guardando, que Tú les sigas fortaleciendo; que Tú capacites, des Sabiduría, para que ellos puedan seguir impartiendo y bendiciendo este Pueblo, dando las Libertades que tu Espíritu ponga en ellos, con tu Sabiduría.

Fortalece sus cuerpos, oh Dios Amado, y gracias por sus Vidas, por el Amor que le tienen a mi Familia. Te agradecemos, Señor, ese Amor inmenso que ellos tienen por nuestra Familia.

Te pedimos, Oh Señor, que Tú cubras esta Nación con Tu Gracia, que Tú cubras esta Nación, Dios Amado, impidiendo toda obra maligna, toda obra del enemigo que quiera perturbar, que quiera destruir. Porque tu Paz, tu Paz, Señor, sea permeable en toda esta Nación.

Agradecemos, Señor, que por ellos servirte, que por ellos mirar Tu Rostro, ya tienen Paz, pero queremos que esa Paz se mantenga. Queremos, Oh Dios Mío, que esa Paz permanezca, Señor.

Así que, agradecemos Dios mío que ellos sigan orando, mirándote a Ti, para que esa Paz se mantenga siempre. Porque, aunque el enemigo venga como río, el Espíritu de Jehová levantará Banderas, y declaramos a Jesucristo el Señor de Nicaragua, declaramos esta Nación Santa y que Jesucristo es el Señor de Nicaragua, Jesucristo es el Señor de Nicaragua. Y te damos toda la Gloria, toda la Honra, para Ti Señor; por Jesús, Amén. 

Palabras del Padre Antonio Castro

Buenas noches a todos. Hoy en la mañana me llamó el Arzobispo delegándome para hacer acá una Oración, un Mensaje por la Paz. 

Nuestra Asamblea Nacional ha decretado Día Nacional de la Paz, sabiendo todos que la Paz no es de un día; la Paz, nos dice el Vaticano II, es un continuo quehacer de todos los días. Honramos la Paz cuando la construimos cada día. 

Jesús nos dice: Dichosos los que trabajan por la Paz. Esos son los Hijos de Dios, esos son los Hijos de Dios. Y Él, antes de partir a la Presencia del Padre, en la Ascensión, les dijo a los Discípulos: Mi Paz yo les dejo, mi Paz yo les doy; no les doy la Paz que les da el mundo. Es muy diferente esa Paz que el mundo quiere dar. Los que dominan los Pueblos dan una Paz que infunde miedo, terror, que lleva consigo a la violencia, destrucción y muerte. No es esa la Paz que el Señor nos da.

Y el Vaticano II nos dice que la Paz no es ausencia de guerra, la Paz es el fruto de la Justicia, es el fruto del Desarrollo, es el fruto del Progreso, es el fruto del Derecho, es el fruto del Respeto a la Dignidad, a la Soberanía de cada uno de los Pueblos.

Por eso, Herman@s, cada uno de nosotros somos y estamos llamados a ser constructores de Paz. Hay Paz cuando hay Justicia, hay Paz cuando hay Salud, hay Paz cuando hay Educación para Tod@s, hay Paz cuando hay Viviendas, hay Paz cuando hay acceso a todos los elementos de producción, hay Paz cuando hay Armonía, cuando hay Reflexión. 

Y hay Paz cuando todos estos recursos los hacemos con Conciencia, con Amor a cada uno de los Proyectos que impulsamos. Y eso implica cuidarlos, protegerlos, defenderlos, amarlos, no solamente los Proyectos, sino también amar, como decía el Papa Francisco, la Creación, nuestra Casa Común. Si cuidamos nuestros Recursos Naturales estamos construyendo Paz, estamos construyendo Vida, estamos construyendo Amor.

Démosle Gracias a Dios que somos Constructores de Paz, desde la más alta Autoridad, hasta el más pequeñito de nuestros Ciudadanos; Constructores de Vida, Constructores de Paz, Constructores de Amor. 

Pido a Dios que nos Bendiga, que nos dé la Sabiduría para descubrir su presencia a través de la construcción de la Paz. ¡Que Dios nos Bendiga!

Buenas noches, Herman@s nicaragüenses, Familias del Campo, de las Ciudades, las Familias que habitan en las riberas del Río Coco, las Familias que habitan en las riberas del Río San Juan, las Familias que habitan en todos los bellos rincones que tiene Nicaragua.

Hoy nos sentimos honrados con la visita y las Palabras, los Mensajes de la Pastora Doris Ávila Talavera, hija de nuestro Querido Yiye Ávila.

Saludamos también a la esposa de Yiye, la Pastora Carmen, que está allá en su tierra, 93 años. Yiye se despidió antes de ella, pero siempre quedó, lógicamente, en el Corazón de esa madre, y de Doris.

Saludamos a José Agripino Rodríguez, que es el compañero, el esposo de Doris; y también al nieto de Yiye. A ver, ponete de pie. Es un poco bajito el muchacho. Él se llama Miguel José Sánchez Ávila.

Y ahora que lo saludaba y que me entregaron esta Santa Biblia, cuánto les agradezco, me decía Miguel José Sánchez, que allá en la casa donde habitan, Yiye lo llamaba y le decía: “Poné la mano sobre esta foto”, y ahí estábamos nosotros. “Tenemos que orar por él, tenemos que orar por ese Pueblo”. Ese era y ese es Yiye, y Yiye no ha muerto, está aquí entre nosotros.

Y nos acompaña el Párroco histórico de la Iglesia Larreynaga, el Padre Antonio Castro, todos conocemos al Padre Antonio Castro. 

Y este Acto en el Día de la Paz aquí en Nicaragua, me recuerda aquellos Actos los 19 de Julio, allí estaba siempre el Cardenal Miguel, que fue Promotor de la Reconciliación el Cardenal Miguel, y siempre estaban presentes en aquellos años, que todavía estábamos en guerra, en lucha, nos acompañaban Pastores de los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, Pastores de las Iglesias de diferentes Denominaciones Evangélicas allá en los Estados Unidos. 

Y así como el Cardenal Miguel hacía su Mensaje de Paz, luego, la gran sorpresa era que hacía el Mensaje de Paz también el Pastor norteamericano. Porque estamos convencidos que, en los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica no hay Democracia, si hay que tirar bombas lo decide el que se ha vuelto experto en tirar bombas. Claro, él no va a tirar las bombas, manda a los soldados a que expongan la Vida.

Es el mismo que continuamente está lanzando sanciones contra los Pueblos. ¡Cuántas sanciones han lanzado en contra de Nicaragua! Ya no hallan ni a quién sancionar de tantos que han sancionado aquí en Nicaragua.

Él debe estar claro, que si es cierto que él está al frente de una Potencia que tiene armamento atómico, que lanza ataques para secuestrar Presidentes, como lo hizo en Venezuela; que amenaza a Cuba, Cuba por más de 60 años bloqueada, amenaza con ir en una Operación Militar, y se olvida que Cuba ha logrado sobrevivir por más de 60 años a ese bloqueo.

Y ha quedado claro también, que a pesar que en Naciones Unidas se ha votado, todos los años se vota a ver quién está a favor del bloqueo y quién está en contra, la inmensa mayoría de los Países del Mundo votan en contra del bloqueo. Pero, como al que está mandando allá en los Estados Unidos le importa poco lo que digan los Organismos Internacionales, le importa poco las mismas Leyes que tienen en los Estados Unidos, le importa poco el papel que puedan jugar los Congresos, los Senados, las diferentes Autoridades que por Ley él tendría que solicitar autorización para lanzar los bombardeos que ha lanzado contra el Pueblo iraní y contra otros Pueblos de la Región, él tranquilo allá en la Casa Blanca.

Han muerto Soldados norteamericanos, y lógicamente que esa es una herida para el Pueblo norteamericano, porque las guerras impuestas, en la forma que las impone el actual Presidente de los Estados Unidos, son propias de alguien que perdió la cabeza, y cree que puede hacer cualquier cosa, cualquier barbaridad.

Lo último, lo último, puso en los TikTok, puso ahí una imagen donde él está con el traje de Cristo, y está curando. ¿A cuántos ha curado? El Pueblo norteamericano y los Pueblos del Mundo le van a pasar la cuenta para saber a cuántos ha asesinado, porque no ha salvado a nadie.

Claro, se siente una Potencia tan grande que puede desbaratar cualquier País y amenaza con desbaratar a Cuba, y de repente también nos amenaza a los nicaragüenses. Pero no debería olvidar el Presidente de los Estados Unidos que aquí en Nicaragua se libró la Batalla en toda esta Región, donde se derrotó a los piratas yanquis encabezados por William Walker. Fueron derrotados y tuvieron que ir luego de regreso. Estamos hablando de los años 1854, 1856.

Y luego, como dice la canción “Soberanía”, Sandino defendió la Bandera Azuliblanco, que no tiene ni una estrella. Y Sandino dio la Batalla con un Ejército con mucha Alma, con mucho Corazón, que eran Campesinos descalzos, otros que tenían botas, zapatos.

El armamento que tenían era un armamento ligero, y aun así las tropas yanquis que estuvieron llegando a Nicaragua, durante 8 años desembarcaron tropas yanquis aquí en Nicaragua, y el Ejército Defensor de la Soberanía Nacional les hizo frente a las tropas yanquis. Incluso, llegó el momento en que empezaron a traer aviación, aviones para bombardear, pensando que de esa manera iban a rendir a Sandino. Y Sandino no se rindió.

Luego, al ver que esta era una Batalla que tenían perdida, que tenían bajas, que ahí venían los aviones a retirar a los heridos, a Soldados norteamericanos heridos, simplemente por una aventura; al final, consideraron que no tenía sentido seguir en esta Batalla, porque ocho años y no lograron derrotar a Sandino, y no les quedó más camino que retirarse derrotados de Nicaragua.

Estos son Tiempos en los que no queda más que luchar con mucha fuerza, con mucha Fuerza de Espíritu, con mucha Fuerza en el Alma, luchar por la Paz, luchar por la Reconciliación, luchar por el entendimiento entre l@s Herman@s de Nicaragua, y luchar por el entendimiento entre los Pueblos del Mundo.

Luchar para que desaparezcan las guerras que hoy tienen en una crisis a todos los Países, incluyendo a los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica; lo que gastan en esas guerras, lo que gastan en armamento, y lo que gastan en lo que es el prestigio, prestigio que debe cuidarlo una Potencia.

En Irán, 70 Niñ@s asesinados en la primera oleada que lanzaron en contra de Irán, ¡70 Niñ@s! O sea, asesinando Niñ@s, asesinando mujeres, ¡es que es una cosa de horror!

Pero estoy seguro que la Fuerza del Amor que Dios le da a todos los Pueblos, esa Fuerza se ha ido levantando, y ha ido protestando contra esas guerras, y ha ido demandando el cese de esas guerras. 

Y que suspendan las Sanciones que tienen en contra de muchos Países: Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, y paro de contar porque la lista es larga. Sanciones que sencillamente atentan contra la Vida de los ciudadanos, contra la Soberanía de los Pueblos, contra las Leyes Internacionales.

Fíjense bien, fíjense bien, aquí andan espulgando a ver a quién sancionan, andan espulgando ya, ¡sí! Han sancionado a tantos nicaragüenses que andan buscando a quién sancionar, ¿y con qué Autoridad, con qué Autoridad? 

No podemos olvidar, no se debe olvidar que cuando lanzaron la guerra contra Nicaragua, una de las últimas guerras ya contra Nicaragua, y estaban minando los puertos, destruyendo puentes, asesinando Maestros, destruyendo escuelas en el Campo; es decir, ¡terrorismo! Estados Unidos haciendo la guerra con terrorismo.

Y documentamos bien con el Padre Miguel d´Escoto, que era el Canciller, documentamos bien, y fuimos allá al Organismo que tiene Naciones Unidas, que és La Haya. Ahí fuimos, porque decíamos: Bueno, a punta de balazos esto nunca va a terminar.

Íbamos a los Organismos Internacionales y fuimos a La Haya, y la Corte Internacional de Justicia dictó una Sentencia y esa Sentencia sigue viva, sigue viva esa sentencia, donde condena a los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica por sus actos de terrorismo en Nicaragua. Lo condena por las muertes, lo condena por las voladuras en los puertos, y lo condena a indemnizar a Nicaragua.

Por lo tanto, que le digan al Presidente de los Estados Unidos, sus Consejeros, que él tiene una deuda con Nicaragua. Él no está para estar aplicando Sanciones contra Nicaragua; él, el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos tiene una deuda con Nicaragua, y la deuda está activa.

Incluso, en el momento en que se dio a conocer la deuda, mandaba, y manda, al Gobierno de los Estados Unidos a indemnizar a Nicaragua en varios millones, miles de millones, a indemnizar. ¡Pagá, pagá, pagá, y no andés matoneando y sancionando a los Pueblos del Mundo!

La Lucha por la Paz en estos tiempos se ha vuelto más urgente, y tenemos que empezar por unirnos nosotros los Pueblos, los Países en Vías de Desarrollo, y buscar ahí hacer un frente en favor de la Paz a nivel global, que termine de una vez por todas con la política terrorista que aplican los Gobernantes norteamericanos en el Mundo.

Y que de esa manera el Presidente de los Estados Unidos, que dice que él es un hombre de Paz, hasta el Premio Nobel de la Paz lo estuvo peleando. No se lo dieron, sí, no se lo dieron, el Premio Nobel de la Paz, y ya es un problema, diríamos, de desquiciamiento mental. 

Como decimos aquí, no está en sus cinco sentidos, y el Presidente de una Potencia como esa, que no está en sus cinco sentidos, va a acabar con su Pueblo, está acabando con su Pueblo y está acabando con la Paz y la Estabilidad en el Mundo.

Que ponga a pruebas su palabra en favor de la Paz, que le ponga ya fin a la guerra contra el Pueblo de Irán; que le ponga ya fin al bloqueo contra Cuba; que le ponga ya fin a las Sanciones que tiene contra Venezuela, y que regrese al Presidente Nicolás Maduro a su País.

Que empiece a dar pasos y ahí sí va a recibir el reconocimiento de la Comunidad Internacional y de los Pueblos del Mundo, pero tiene que dar pasos a favor de la Paz, no es con palabras de que él ama la Paz, sino con acciones que tiene que asegurar que es amante de la Paz. Y coincidimos con él en eso, porque nosotros somos amantes de la Paz, los Pueblos son amantes de la Paz. 

Las guerras no traen más que dolor, dolor y más dolor. La Paz trae Estabilidad, trae combate a la Pobreza, la Paz crea condiciones para la Inversión, para el Trabajo, para la Educación, para la Salud.

Es decir, la Paz es lo que demandan todos los Pueblos del Mundo y el mismo Pueblo norteamericano, donde se cometen crímenes horrendos continuamente, y asesinan también a emigrantes de nuestros Países que han ido para allá buscando trabajo, pero no los quiere este señor. Hay una persecución en contra de los inmigrantes y a cuántos han matado, a cuántos han asesinado, a cuántos han encarcelado... ¡Sí!

Así es que, invocando a Cristo, Cristo és la Fuente de la Verdad, la Fuente de la Consecuencia, porque pudiendo liberarse de quienes lo iban a crucificar, no lo hizo. Porque era más potente, como Ejemplo de Generosidad y Amor para los Pueblos, ir al Sacrificio. Y después del Sacrificio fue la Resurrección, y ahí está Cristo en todos nuestros Corazones, ahí está Cristo en todos nuestros Pueblos, ahí está Cristo en la Humanidad.

En este Aniversario, donde rendimos Homenaje a todos los que murieron, y les digo, los que promueven ese tipo de actos de terror, son responsables de los que murieron atacando al Pueblo aquí. Y nosotros les damos nuestras Condolencias, nuestra Solidaridad, a las Familias que fueron asesinadas y a los que murieron del lado de los asesinos; porque el sufrimiento en esas Familias es igual, el dolor es igual.

Es la mejor prueba de que las guerras no pueden repetirse, y para ello la mayor fortaleza la tenemos en nuestras Conciencias, en la Unidad de nuestro Pueblo, en la Unidad de una Juventud que anda trabajando, que anda sirviendo a las Familias.

Y la Paz logramos recuperarla hace 8 años, sí, porque nos habían arrebatado la Paz en esos momentos, y logramos recuperarla hace 8 años. Pienso que lo que ahí aconteció en esos momentos de terror, dejó convencido después al Pueblo nicaragüense que aquí no había más Camino que el de la Paz. Y ahí están las pruebas.

Todo lo que hemos logrado avanzar en Tiempos de Paz están a la vista, los Programas están a la vista, las Viviendas para la gente de escasos recursos están a la vista, la construcción de Carreteras, los Hospitales, ¡todo eso está a la vista!

Beloved Families of this Blessed, Prodigious, Miraculous Nicaragua, blessed by the Grace of God, Forever Dignified, Sovereign and Free... Our Nicaragua where today we celebrate and give thanks to the Father committing ourselves, each and every one, to Peace, as our Triumph, our Victory.

Love, Faith, Hope, Brother and Sisterhood, Solidarity, that is Nicaragua. All of us Together, Always Further On!

April means continuing to Overcome in Harmony, in Community, in Family, in Fraternity. 

Nicaragua, Nicaragua Triumphs in Peace...! Nicaragua Triumphs in Unity!

This afternoon, in this Square where we also honor all the Sacred Blood offered up for this Blessed Patriotic Nation, by our Heroes, our National Heroes, our Martyrs, we also honor ourselves here. And here, before this Youth who know about Struggles and Honor, the Commitment of everyone is to Go Forward, To Keep Going Onward, striving to overcome Poverty, striving to maintain Harmony, striving to advance, always in Family Values, in Community.

We want to greet the Presidium, the Youth of Nicaragua, the Sandinista Youth, the Revolutionary, Evolutionary Youth, the Youth that makes its way in Peace, with Rights and Well-Being for Everyone.

We salute too, in this Presidium, well, our Comandante Daniel; our President of the National Assembly, Dr. Gustavo Porras; the Vice President, Compañera Arling Alonso; Army General Julio César Avilés Castillo, Head of the Army and of the Military Forces of our Blessed Nicaragua; Colonel General Bayardo Rodríguez, Chief of the General Staff; Colonel General Marvin Elías Corrales, Inspector General of our Army, both Colonel General Bayardo and Compañera Colonel General Marvin Elías Corrales; First Commissioner Francisco Díaz, Head of the Police Forces, and Co-Chief Commissioner General Victoriano Ruiz.

Minister of the Interior, Compañera María Amelia Coronel; Commissioner General Luis Cañas, Vice Minister; Compañera President and National Hero, Compañera President of the Supreme Electoral Council, our sister Brenda Rocha;  and the Vice President Compañero Comandante Lumberto Campbell.

Attorney General of Justice, or Attorney General of the Republic, Dr. Wendy Morales; Minister for Youth, Compañera Darling Hernández, and Compañero National Coordinator of the Sandinista July 19th Youth, Oscar Pérez.

And we want to highlight the presence in this Square where we are honoring our Commitment to Peace, and the Future, of Compañera Doris Ávila Talavera, daughter of our beloved Yiye Ávila and his wife Carmen “Yiya”; of Doris's husband, Compañera José Agripino Rodríguez; of Yiye's grandson, son of Nohemí, daughter of Yiye and Carmen. And our beloved brother who accompanies us always, at all times, Father Antonio Castro, parish priest of the church in Larreynaga.

We have invited them all to join us here to offer a Prayer for Peace, for the Future, for Youth, for the Families of this Blessed Nicaragua, Blessed, Forever Dignified, Sovereign, Joyful and Free!

Prayer for Peace
Pastor Doris Ávila Talavera

God bless everyone here. We thank God for this opportunity, this privilege of being here to pray. I am accompanied by my husband José and my nephew Miguel, who are also here and we have enjoyed the Love they have for my father and which extends to us. We are very happy to be here, but let's do what we came for and pray.

Dear God, Heavenly Father, at this moment we call out to You for Nicaragua; we thank You for the Blessing and Honor of being here to pray with this People, Lord, a People that loves You, where your Freedom prevails, where You can be adored and praised, and my God, thank You for that Privilege, Lord.

We thank You for your Kindness, we thank You, my God, for this opportunity to be here, and at this moment, Beloved Lord, I pray first for their Leaders. I ask that You continue to keep them safe, that You continue to strengthen them; that You empower and give them Wisdom, so they can continue to impart and bless this People, giving the Freedoms that your Spirit puts in them, with your Wisdom.

Strengthen their bodies, O Beloved God, and thank You for their Lives, for the Love they have for my Family. We thank You, Lord, for the immense love they have for our Family.

We ask You, O Lord, that You cover this Nation with Your Grace, that You cover this Nation, Beloved God, preventing every evil work, every work of the enemy that wants to perturb, that wants to destroy. Because your Peace, your Peace, Lord, may it permeate throughout this Nation.

We are grateful, Lord, for them to serve You, for them to gaze at Your Face, they already have Peace, but we want that Peace to be maintained. We want, oh My Lord God, that Peace to remain.

So, we thank my God that they continue to pray, looking to You, so that this Peace may always be maintained. Because, even if the enemy comes like a river, the Spirit of Jehovah will raise Banners, and we declare Jesus Christ the Lord of Nicaragua, we declare this Nation Holy and that Jesus Christ is the Lord of Nicaragua, Jesus Christ is indeed the Lord of Nicaragua. And we give you all the Glory, all the Honor, for You Lord; through Jesus, Amen.

Address by Father Antonio Castro

Good evening, everyone. This morning the Archbishop called me, delegating me to offer a Prayer here, a Message for Peace. 

Our National Assembly has decreed a National Day of Peace, while everyone knows that Peace is not just for one day; Peace, Vatican II tells us, is a continuous daily task. We honor peace when we build it every day. 

Jesus tells us: Blessed are those who work for peace. They are God's children, these are God's children. And He, before departing to the Presence of the Father, at the Ascension, said to the Disciples: My Peace I leave with you, my Peace I give to you; I do not give you the Peace that the world gives you. It is very different that Peace that the world wants to give. Those who dominate the Peoples offer a Peace that instills fear and terror, which leads to violence, destruction and death. That is not the Peace the Lord gives us.

Vatican II tells us that Peace is not the absence of war, Peace is the fruit of Justice, it is the fruit of Development, it is the fruit of Progress, it is the fruit of Law, it is the fruit of Respect for the Dignity and Sovereignty of each one of the world’s Peoples.

That is why, Brothers and Sisters, each one of us is, and is called to be, a builder of Peace. There is Peace when there is Justice, there is Peace when there is Health, there is Peace when there is Education for Everyone, there is Peace when there is Housing, there is Peace when there is access to all the elements of production, there is Peace when there is Harmony, when there is Reflection. 

And there is Peace when we create all these resources with Conscience, with Love for each of the Projects we promote. And that means taking care of them, protecting them, defending them, loving them, not only the Projects, but also loving, as Pope Francis said, Creation, our Common Home. If we take care of our Natural Resources we are building Peace, we are building Life, we are building Love.

Let us thank God that we are all Builders of Peace, from the highest authority to the smallest of our Citizens; Builders of Life, Builders of Peace, Builders of Love. 

I ask God to bless us, to give us the Wisdom to discover His presence through the construction of Peace. May God Bless us!

NICARAGUA, OUR NICARAGUA :
HOW WE LOVE YOU...!

Those who could not prevail,
through Fear, 
through Envy, 
through Greed, 
exploiting the Strength of everyone’s Success 
those who believed themselves better than everyone 
who believed, above all
in those who are not us at all,
but others, ones from far away,
the ones who ignore everyone else, 
they, the ones who desecrated that Sacred Love,
today they long for what they put at risk and lost 
when they wanted, they yearned, to set back 
the calendar, the clocks, 
the needles, the bells,
the Suns, the Days, the Psalms, the Moons,
They who pierced their own land, 
who blasphemed their own times,
today they long to return to this Blessed Nicaragua
with all its wonders
But They Cannot, Nor Will They Be Able To...!

They, 
those who sold Holy Blood, for nothing, 
believing that they would be paid with mirrors and lights

There are blows, in Life,

Good evening, Nicaraguan Brothers and Sisters, Families in the Countryside, in the Cities, Families on the banks of the River Coco River, Families who live on the banks of the River San Juan, all the Families who live in every beautiful corner of Nicaragua.

Today we are honored with the visit, the Words and Messages of Pastor Doris Ávila Talavera, daughter of our Beloved Yiye Ávila.

We also greet Yiye's wife, Pastor Carmen, who is at home, aged 93 years. Yiye said goodbye to her before he passed, but he remains always, of course, in the heart of his mother, and of Doris.

We greet José Agripino Rodríguez, who is the partner and husband of Doris; and also to Yiye's grandson. Let us see him stand. He is a little boy. His name is Miguel José Sánchez Ávila.

And when I was greeting him and they handed me this Holy Bible, for which I thank them very much, Miguel José Sánchez told me, that once in the house where they live, Yiye called to him saying, “I put my hand on this photo,” in which we were. “We have to pray for them, we have to pray for their People." That was and that is Yiye, for Yiye has not died, he is here among us.

And we are joined by the historic parish priest of the Church in Larreynaga, Father Antonio Castro, all of us know Father Antonio Castro. 

And this Event on the Day of Peace here in Nicaragua reminds me of those events for July 19th when Cardinal Miguel was always there, who was a Promoter of Reconciliation, Cardinal Miguel, and also always present in those years when we were still at war, still in struggle, we were accompanied by Pastors from the United States of America, Pastors of the Churches of different Evangelical Denominations from the United States. And just as Cardinal Miguel made his Message of Peace, so then it causes great surprise that a US Pastor also offered a Message of Peace. 

However, we are sure that there is no democracy in the United States of America, if you end up launching bombs that is decided by the person who has become expert in launching bombs. Of course, that person himself is not going to launch the bombs, he orders his soldiers to risk their lives.

In the same way he continuously launches sanctions against the world’s Peoples. How many sanctions have been launched against Nicaragua! They can't even find anyone else to punish anymore after so many people they have sanctioned here in Nicaragua.

He should be clear, that while it is true he is at the head of a Power that has nuclear weapons, one that launches attacks to kidnap Presidents, as he did in Venezuela; one that threatens Cuba, Cuba has been blockaded for more than 60 years, one that threatens to launch a Military Operation, but he forgets that Cuba has managed to survive that blockade for more than 60 years.

And it has also become clear that although the United Nations has voted, every year it votes to see who is in favor of the blockade and who is against, with the immense majority of countries in the world voting against the blockade. But, since the one who is in command there in the United States cares little about what the international organizations say, cares little even about the self-same US laws, cares little about the role that Congress, the Senate, the different Authorities from whom by law he should have to request authorization to launch the bombings he has launched against the Iranian People and against other Peoples of the Region, he is quite calm there in the White House.

US soldiers have died, and naturally that is a wound for the US people, because the wars imposed in the way the current President of the United States imposes them, are typical of someone who has lost their mind and believes he can do anything, commit any barbarity.

The last thing, the most recent thing he put on the TikTok, was when he posted an image where he is dressed as Christ, and he is healing. But how many have you cured? The US people and the Peoples of the world are going to call you to account to find out how many you have killed, because you have not saved anyone.

Of course, he feels this country is such a great Power that it can destroy any country and he threatens to destroy Cuba, and suddenly he may also threaten us Nicaraguans. But the President of the United States should not forget how here in Nicaragua the battle was fought throughout this Region, against the Yankee filibusters led by William Walker who were defeated. They were defeated and then had to return home. We’re talking about the years 1854, 1856.

And then, as the song “Soberanía” says, Sandino defended the Blue and White Flag, which doesn’t have a single star. And Sandino fought that battle with an Army that had great Soul, great Heart, who were barefoot peasants, while others had boots and shoes.

The armament they had was light armament, and still with all those Yankee troops that arrived in Nicaragua over 8 years, Yankee troops landing here in Nicaragua, and the Army in Defense of National Sovereignty confronted those Yankee troops. A moment even came when they started bringing their aviation, airplanes to drop bombs, thinking in that way they were going to make Sandino surrender. But Sandino did not give up.

Then, when they saw this was a battle they had lost, that they suffered casualties, that their airplanes had to come and remove their wounded, wounded American soldiers, simply for an adventure; in the end, they decided it made no sense to continue in that battle, because after eight years they failed to defeat Sandino, and nothing remained for them but to withdraw defeated from Nicaragua.

These are times in which there is no recourse except to fight very hard for Peace, with a lot of Strength of Spirit, with a lot of Strength in the Soul, to fight for Peace, to fight for Reconciliation, to fight for understanding among the Brothers and Sisters of Nicaragua, and to fight for understanding among the Peoples of the World.

To strive so that the wars disappear which today have all countries in crisis, including the United States of America; with all that they spend on those wars, what they spend on armaments, and what they spend on prestige, prestige that a world Power should take care of.

In Iran, 170 Children were killed in the first wave of bombing they launched against Iran, 170 Children! I mean, murdering children, murdering women… this is a thing of horror!

But I am sure that the Force of the Love that God gives to all Peoples, that Force is rising up, protesting against those wars, and demanding an end to those wars. 

And also that they suspend the sanctions that they have imposed against many countries: Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and I’d better stop counting because the list is long. Sanctions that simply threaten the lives of citizens, threaten the Sovereignty of Peoples, threaten International Law.

Pay close attention, take a good look, here they are anxious to see who they can sanction next, they are pushing to do so now, yes! They have sanctioned so many Nicaraguans that now they are looking for who else to sanction, but with what Authority, with what Authority? 

We cannot forget, we must not forget that when they launched their war against Nicaragua, one of the last wars now against Nicaragua, when they were mining the ports, destroying bridges, murdering teachers, destroying schools in the countryside; that is, terrorism! The United States wages war with terrorism.

And we documented that very well with Father Miguel dEscoto, who was Foreign Minister, we documented it well, and we went there to the United Nations Court, which is in The Hague. That's where we went, because we were saying: Really, at the point of gunfire this war is never going to end.

We went to international organizations and we went to The Hague, and the International Court of Justice issued a Sentence and that Sentence is still alive, that Sentence is still alive, condemning the United States of America for its acts of terrorism in Nicaragua. The Sentence condemns the US for the deaths, condemns the US for the explosions in the ports, and condemns the US to compensate Nicaragua.

Therefore, his advisers should remind the President of the United States that he owes a debt to Nicaragua. He has no business applying sanctions against Nicaragua; he and the United States government has a debt with Nicaragua, and that debt is still pending.

Even, in the moment the debt was made known, it ordered, and still orders the United States government to indemnify Nicaragua with several billions in compensation. Pay up, pay up, pay up! And stop bullying and punishing the World’s Peoples!

The Struggle for Peace in these times has become ever more urgent, and we have to start by uniting ourselves as Peoples, all developing countries, seeking in that way to create a front in favor of Peace at the global level, one that ends once and for all the terrorist policies applied around the World by the US rulers.

And there is the President of the United States, who says that he is a man of Peace, he even fought to get the Nobel Peace Prize. They did not give it to him, indeed, they did not give it to him, the Nobel Peace Prize, and we can say that already showed a problem of mental derangement. 

As people here say, he is not in his five senses, and the President of a Power like the US, who is not in his five senses, is going to destroy his People, and he is destroying his People, he is destroying Peace and Stability in the World.

Let him put his words in favor of Peace to the test, let him put an end now to the war against the People of Iran; let him put an end now to the blockade against Cuba; let him put an end now to the sanctions he has against Venezuela now, and let President Nicolás Maduro return to his country.

Let him start taking those steps and then he will receive the recognition of the international community and the Peoples of the World, but he has to take steps in favor of Peace, not with words saying he loves Peace, but with actions to prove that he is a lover of Peace. And we agree with him on that, because we are peace loving, the world’s Peoples are peace loving. 

Wars bring nothing but grief, suffering and more grief. Peace brings stability, it enables the fight against poverty, Peace creates conditions for Investment, for Work, for Education, for Health.

That is to say, Peace is what all the Peoples of the World and the US People themselves demand, there where horrendous crimes are committed continuously, where migrants from our countries who have gone there looking for work are murdered, for this individual does not want them. There is a persecution against immigrants and how many have now been killed, how many have now been murdered, how many have now been imprisoned... Yes, indeed!

So, we invoke Christ, for Christ is the Source of Truth, the Source of Consequence, because even when he could have set himself free from those who were going to crucify him, he did not do so. Because it was more powerful, as an example of Generosity and Love for the Peoples, to go along with his Sacrifice. And after the Sacrifice was the Resurrection, and there is Christ in all our Hearts, there is Christ in all our Peoples, Christ is there in all Humanity.

On this Anniversary, when we pay tribute to all those who died, and I can assure you, those who promote such acts of terror, attacking our People here, are responsible for all those who died. And we offer our Condolences, our Solidarity, to the Families who of those who were murdered but also to those who died on the side of the murderers; because the suffering in those Families is the same, the grief is the same.

This is the best proof that wars should not be repeated, and for this we have the greatest strength in our Consciences, in the Unity of our People, in the Unity of our Young People who are working, who are serving Nicaragua’s Families.

We managed to recover Peace 8 years ago, yes, because Peace had been taken away from us at that time, and we managed to get it back 8 years ago. And I think what happened there in those moments of terror later convinced the Nicaraguan people that there was no other way to follow here but the way of Peace.

And there's proof of that. Everything we have managed to advance in these Times of Peace is there for all to see, the Programs can be seen, the Housing for poor families can be seen, the construction of Roads, Hospitals, all of that is plainly to be seen!

Nicaraguan brothers and sisters, all this is in plain sight. And who is delivering these works? Nicaragua’s Youth, with all their Conscience, with all their Courage, proud to be putting into practice the Solidarity that is the source of Love, and the Source of Love is God, is Christ, is Our Lord.
