DE LA REPÚBLICA DE NICARAGUA
SOBRE EL ASUNTO DE TAIWÁN

El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de la República de Nicaragua y las familias nicaragüenses, reconocemos que en el Mundo existe Una Sola China y que Taiwán es una parte inalienable del territorio chino. El Gobierno de la República Popular China es el único Gobierno legítimo que representa a toda China. Nos oponemos firmemente a cualquier forma de “independencia de Taiwán” y apoyamos decididamente la reunificación nacional de la Patria china.
Respaldamos plenamente la Resolución 2758 de las Naciones Unidas, que restablece todos los derechos de la República Popular China y deja claro que el Gobierno de la República Popular China es el único Gobierno legítimo de China en las Naciones Unidas.
La parte nicaragüense apoya firmemente la postura legítima del Gobierno chino en la defensa de la soberanía nacional, la seguridad y la integridad territorial, y todos los esfuerzos realizados por China para lograr la reunificación nacional, y rechaza todo intento de las fuerzas externas de interferir en los asuntos internos de China bajo el pretexto de la cuestión de Taiwán.
El Gobierno de Nicaragua continuará adhiriéndose al principio de una sola china, y reitera el apoyo a la Justa Posición del Gobierno de China y su gran pueblo por la materialización de la gran causa de la reunificación de la Patria.

OF THE REPUBLIC OF NICARAGUA
ON THE ISSUE OF TAIWAN

The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua and Nicaragua’s families recognize that there is Only One China in the World and that Taiwan is an inalienable part of Chinese territory. The Government of the People's Republic of China is the only legitimate Government representing the whole of China. We firmly oppose any form of "Taiwan independence” and strongly support the national reunification of the Chinese Nation.
We fully support United Nations Resolution 2758, which restores all the rights of the People's Republic of China and makes it clear that the Government of the People's Republic of China is the only legitimate Government of China in the United Nations.
Nicaraguan for its part firmly supports the legitimate stance of the Chinese Government in defense of national sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, as well as all efforts made by China to achieve national reunification, and rejects any attempt by external forces to interfere in China's internal affairs using the pretext of the Taiwan issue.
The Government of Nicaragua will continue to adhere to the One China principle, and reiterates its support for the Just Position of the Government of China and its great people for the realization of the great cause of the reunification of their Patriotic Nation.
