DAVID, A NEW DAWN
Today, the Militant Combatant, Poet and Singer of the Sandinista Popular Revolution, Compañero David McField Richards, has passed to the Higher Plane of Eternal Life.
With the joy of knowing that he is living beyond all miseries, and even more so here, fighting with his People the continuity of the Battles of National Dignity, we communicate this Good News... Good, because David lives among the Righteous and those who give everything for the Unshakable Cause of Justice and Love.
We greet with immense affection his Children and Grandchildren, his Caribbean, Native, Afro-descendant Community, and the Nicaraguan Nation which is giving another Precious Child to Eternity. From there David continues to accompany our Songs of Freedom.
We have decided to award to his family the Highest Order conferred by the People President on Nicaraguans Who Honor and stand out in the righteous defense of our Revolutionary Principles and Values.
His Vital Honors will be celebrated this afternoon and evening in Monte de los Olivos, and after his Christian Burial we will pay tribute in Auditorium 12, named after another Great Revolutionary Poet, Fernando Gordillo, in the UNAN Managua.
